Last Thursday night I got the opportunity to see Truth in Translation which is playing at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast until this Saturday as part of the Festival. Basically it tells the story of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa from the perspective of the interpreters. It's a musical and although there are only 2 musicians, the music and songs are really powerful along with the performance of the excellent cast. it made me laugh out loud in places and want to cry in places. I strongly recommend if you can get a ticket to go see it. It's the kind of thing I'd like to see 2 or 3 times, I think I'd get more out of it each time.
